We've recently printed a couple of large run lithographic jobs for clients of ours. We printed and delivered 100k 12pp DL Leaflets into various addresses within 2 working days.
On completion of the job, I think that the client's exact words were "that's efficient" (he's a Yorkshire man so he's a man of very few words). That made me feel good, as that's what it's all about in business isn't it? Exceeding peoples expectations, going that extra mile, over delivering! Personally I get a buzz from this, and it's really what makes us, as a company tick. It might be straightforward stuff, but in my opinion, if you get on with it, get your head down and do a good job - all with a smile on your face and a bit of banter, then hopefully you should succeed.
Building relationships is key, caring about what your customer wants, and getting onboard with what your client is trying to achieve (and being part of that) is, I think a great honour, and it makes me want to work harder for the client!
